Student Recitals

Recitals are a great way for students to get used to performing with other musicians and playing in front of people. Student recitals aren't required, but I encourage every student to participate. There are two recitals each year. The first is at the end of the spring semester and the second is at the end of the winter semester. Some students prefer to perform by themselves, which is great. Most of my electric guitar and bass students prefer to perform in a band setting. I play guitar with my bass students, I play bass with my guitar students, and I get one of my buddies to join in on the drum kit. It's a lot of fun and the students really enjoy getting to perform with a band. The parents, siblings, and friends really like seeing the students perform at the student recitals. Everybody is welcome.
