I have been teaching privately for over 20 years to students of all ages and backgrounds. I am well versed in many styles:  blues, rock, funk, punk, metal, acoustic, etc.

During our lessons, I cover topics ranging from learning how to play starting from the basics, strum patterns, chords, scales, modes, soloing, alternate picking, bending, harmonics,  fingerpicking, how to create bass lines, songwriting, theory, improvisation, guitar maintenance, amplifiers, effects, etc.

I feel it is important to get out of the lessons what you want. So I don’t have a set curriculum, and tailor each lesson to the student. I am a very patient teacher and present material in an easily digestible manner, so we will move at your  pace.

I think the one thing that sets me apart from other teachers is that I teach my students what they want to learn. I don't have the same system for every student like a lot of teachers. I always take into consideration what my students want and what will make them happy. After all, the point of these lessons is to have fun and leave the lesson feeling good about yourself.
